Hi, I’m Dr. Sami — the voice behind Samiversity.
I’m a licensed veterinarian by training, which means my relationship with animal health started long before I ever wrote a blog post. Clinical veterinary training teaches you to read evidence critically, trust data over opinion, and never make a health claim about an animal you can’t back up. That’s the standard I hold every article on this site to.
Samiversity exists because there’s a lot of noise in online pet content — and not nearly enough of it is written by someone with real veterinary training. I started this blog to bridge that gap: clear, well-researched, easy-to-understand pet and animal health content that respects both the science and the reader.
What you’ll find here
- Evidence-based articles on pet health, animal wellness, and everyday veterinary questions
- Content that breaks down complex veterinary topics without dumbing them down or sensationalizing them
- A perspective shaped by real clinical veterinary training, not just internet research
Why “Samiversity”?
Think of it as a university of animal health knowledge — a place to actually learn, not just skim a listicle.
My promise:
Everything published here is written (or reviewed) with a veterinarian’s respect for accuracy — no fear-mongering, no unverified claims, no shortcuts.
